The transmission is the most neglected component in a vehicle and very expensive to fix. I dont think redline markets the shockproof oils for synchromesh transmissions. Looks and smells funky pink frothy and profound gear oil smell but its all good. Stuff with extreme pressure additives is usually not something you want with synchromesh it can be too slippery. They protect gear teeth and in the process reduce tooth wear. You wont have any varnishing of the clutches or valves when using red line.
The formulation is less slippery and low in sulfur which makes it compatible. It is a pink gear oil formulated with high levels of anti wear chemistry like zinc and phosphorus friction modifiers.
