Other than that the side windows and windshield all work great with rain x on them. This however im not so sure about.

You can see how much worse it gets on the back but works amazingly on the side and front. Avoid using rainx original glass water repellent on any plastic surfaces including motorcycle windshields atvs and solar panels i fear if you did this it will damage the windshield by making it cloudy or discolored.
The rain x not only leaves it nice and clean but is very good and leaving it waterproof. We have now used this version on our airplane windows and our motorcycle helmets. Its easy to use and specifically designed for plastics but it just doesnt seem to build up a hydrophobic coating as well as the glass product. Here in arizona he doesnt end up riding in the rain very often but on the rare occasions he has been caught in a downpour the rain beads up rolls right off keep his view nice and clear. It helps to keep the exterior of my boat clean and repells the water when i am boating.
We can absolutely attest to the fact that when properly applied the rain repellent treatment does work and provides safer driving conditions when its raining both when its just drizzling and when its a downpour. It better work very well for the. Havent rain tested my new bottle yet so cant review.
