Open the ihome control app select add device make sure the plug is connected to an outlet. They dont roam so if the closest ap got powered off or reset the plug can move to a weak connection and wont move back. However it seems about every day or 2 they lose connection to apples homekit. Tap login and grant smartthings permission to access your ihome control devices by tapping authorize.
If you previously connected an ihome smartplug with smartthings and later install another plug smartthings will automatically pull your new device from your ihome account. Alternative method for ios. 2 are isp6x firmware 0310 and one is an isp5 firmware 0917. Scroll down and tap on the ihome smartplug xxxxxx tap next on the top right. They still function perfectly with homekit and with the ihome app but they appear to lose connection with smartthings.
