Im trying to wire up a dash cam and i need 12v constant power. It worked but now my door chime is always on when door is open as if i left the key in the ignition with lights on or something. I was just messing around with the switches and my meter. I want them to always have power not just when the key is in the run position. Tape off the harnass side cit wire. Find the power wire going to the uplifter switches and find another power soure that has constant power and tie into that or you could run just a straight power wire to the switches from the batter.
