Using the factory harness from a cv. The 46 will be of the 96 98 type i will have the entire 46 enginebody harness and ecu.

F100 4 6 swap wiring. Hello this is my first post hope you folks can help me. I have a question on the engine wiring harness. The 4r70w transmission is used behind this engine. I bought the ron francis access 247. Hoping that i can use motor mounts of a mustang and set it in with out having to butcher everything up to do it. I tried to use the mark viii harness it was a real pain in the email protected.
I did the dohc 46 swap into my 68 f100. Unlike other makes where the basic scheme doesnt change much the ford system has changed considerably over the years and has had at least four base. Factory ecm can be used in factory configuration. I paid 52500 well worth it. I out a 50 from an explorer into my 88 rx7 and i want to do something different so i can learn something new thats why im thinking 46 swap. Ft 95a 1994 95 ford crown vic 46 telorvek wiring kit.
Just looking for better mpgs and drive ability. 46 swap into 66 f100 wiring question my son and i are building a 1966 f100 with all modern running gear. As far as fitting the 46 everything is custom anyway. I also want to use all factory interior so my questions are. Wiring the system is the most difficult part of any swap and with all the changes ford has made over the years and the upgrades to computers it is a source of apprehension to most builders. Has anyone done this swap before on this site.
I have a 67 f100 i swapped the front end over to the cv suspension and i got a 2000 cvpi with a 46 and stripped it completely i dont have the money to do a aftermarket plug and play type harness. Also what stared this whole thing was a rear end swap i wanted disc brakes on the truck and getting a disc brake for the 9 that truck has now would be about 300. 1994 1995 ford crown vic linc town car merc gran marquis sohc 2v 46 v 8 modular engine wiring kits this sohc 2v 46 engine has two ignition coils with each coil firing four cylinders. The front and rear ends are out of a crown vic and the enginetrans are out of a 2007 mustang. There are plenty of folks that have done this mod i have all the parts for a 50 efi conversion on a 302 and was wondering if it is similar. I am not wanting to do the crown vic front suspension swap.
What a nice setup. There are 3 plugs two of which go directly to the pcm. Very fun project so far. I have a 72 f100 that i am planning on putting a 46l engine and trans in.
