The temp at 34 is actually 170 deg f as checked with a indicator with capillary tube. It is located on the mass air flow censor on the intake.

The sending unit on a 351 windsor may be located in a couple places. 71 block 72 heads 73 2 barrel intake manifold. Should be a red wire and 2c should be a lgyellow for the iat installation. 38 x 18 npt the 1969 351 windsor temperature sending unit has been discontinued. Now there is also another sensor thats on the water pump at same location but the sensor has like a coil spring at the end of it. It has 5 wires running to it.
