Yes the lightify app is horrible and the firmware update process is slow even with bulbs within 10 feet of the gateway. Never gets to save.

Osram lightify update problem. Hi guys first off i am loving the osram lightify products. 5 times on 5 sec 5 times off 5 sec. That said i think its because of. My most recent addition is 4 gardenspots. Unfortunately if your in the uk like me ota updates havnt been activated yet on the st hub. I moved my sylvaniaosram gardenspots to my zigbee2mqtt install just for grins the other day to see if they would work and watched in real time because i have access to more of the underlying zigbee data on that system most of the zigbee mesh die node by node as the osrams would accept routed packets.
The reason the lightifys are unreliable is because they repeat poorly. Ive had issues with those staying connected to st and accepting commands. The lightify app step where it asks you to identify your wifi network did not work until i moved the hub very close to my wifi router. I have reset them several times and still no change. So your only option would be to purchase the lightify gateway and factory reset your lamps dont remove them from st then add them to the new gateway and update the firmware then delete them from the lightify hub this factory resets them again. We will do the rest and get your system back up and running.
At first i thought it was an issue with signal so i added 3 outlets as repeaters and was able to easily addremove them after that but i am still having issues controlling them. I can get it to recognize it but it just sits there and says initializing. Do the osram lightify not smart color bulbs model 73693 work with he.
